The first round of matches at the European Championships has finished with England claiming a well earned draw against the French. Joleon Lescott scored his first goal for England with a header from a Steven Gerrard free kick. This was to be cancelled out 10 minutes later by a low drive from Man City midfielder, Samir Nasri.
