The first round of matches at the European Championships has finished with England claiming a well earned draw against the French. Joleon Lescott scored his first goal for England with a header from a Steven Gerrard free kick. This was to be cancelled out 10 minutes later by a low drive from Man City midfielder, Samir Nasri. So far it has been a great tournament with the second round of matches starting later today with the Czech Republic vs Greece and Russia vs Poland. England's next game is against Sweden on Friday, kick off 19:45 pm.
