The Match Attax World Championships came to a conclusion this weekend with Jake Byrne from the Republic of Ireland taking victory!

Jake won the final by beating our champion from Newcastle, Benji Dennett, 6-5 during the half time interval  at the Chelsea vs QPR game. Luckily the rain held off for what was an enthralling battle between the two best players in the world, with Jake winning it on the last card.

The weekend started on Saturday when all 13 finalists, and their familys, were shown around the Tower of London and ending the night with a meal at the Medieval Banquet. Sunday was the big day, and after completing the initial Match Attax Heats, everyone was treated to a goal fest as Chelsea won 6 - 1.
